I have to say that I got the biggest thrill from the Momus take on it, particularly when I remember how fantastic he looks in the 'Scream' video.
BTW, I've always assumed this blog was named after Can but I've just realized it could equally be The Sisters.
ooh, many thanks for that link. that's a great piece of writing.
i did indeed name the blog after the can song. recently i was shocked to discover that dave(id!) gilmour wrote the song for can because it was judged that they needed a hit. then they fucked it up by looking all beardy-weirdy so no-one bought it (and back to semi-obscurity they went).
that sisters number is the period at which i began to lose patience with them. it has a big old killer riff, as i recall...
I think it was co-written by Peter Gilmour. I don't know who he is but I think we're safe.
